I’ve been involved with the Python / scipy / conda communities for years (decades! – anyone remember Python 1.5 and Numeric?)

Claims to fame:

• Author of PEP 485 – A Function for testing approximate equality.
• Initiator of the SciPy BoF that lead to conda-forge (not that I did any of the real work)
• Maintainer of dozens of conda-forge packages (anyone know how to see how many exactly?)
