How to populate the Description section

My conda tool has just been published!

However, the Description section on its page is empty: New Conda Env :: Anaconda.org.

How do I modify the recipe yaml to have it populated? (I was assuming that the required about.summary section would be used for that.)

You need to add a description line to the about section, see this example:

Hi @Xylem, yes, it appears that the description can use markdown. Here’s an example of a feedstock using markdown. (However, they seem to have incorrectly got the impression that every line needed to end with a |, so don’t copy that):
