I have now installed Miniconda on two machines that I use at work. On the first machine, a folder called “Python Scripts” appeared, but I didn’t pay attention to when it was created, and I thought that it might have been created by Windows itself. It has remained empty. That was several months ago.
On the new machine where I just installed Miniconda, I just saw the “Python Scripts” folder appear today, and its creation time coincides with when I created my first conda venv. So I’m pretty confident that Miniconda created this folder, not the OS. What is its intended purpose? Is it for users or for conda’s use?
